As an organizational leader, you cannot look anywhere today without confronting the need for transformation in the healthcare system. Successful organizational change in academic medicine requires a culture of engagement, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement at every level. Yet, many healthcare leaders find themselves thrust into change leadership roles without adequate preparation to deal with the relational and behavioral aspects of leading change that are so crucial to their success.
The AAMC recognizes that the work of organizational change in academic medicine is too important, too expensive, and too hard in terms of time, money and emotion to approach without adequate preparation. To that end, we have partnered with the developers of Leading Organization to Health (LOH), Tony Suchman, MD, MA, FACP and Diane Rawlins, MA, LMHC to bring this dynamic and highly experiential program into the AAMC portfolio of learning and leadership development programs to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and presence you need to “be the change” in your organization and to lead effectively.
If you are interested in learning more about the LOH program or have specific questions you’d like answered, we encourage you to join us for one of our virtual information sessions:
