The AAMC created RISE: Developing Future Leaders in Academic Medicine & Science with the goal of helping students build leadership skills and knowledge that are vital to their journeys as medical students, residents, and their futures as physician leaders. The AAMC now offers two distinct programs for medical students at different stages in their journey:

Who Should Attend?Student leaders who demonstrate a willingness and ability to positively impact the culture and/or learning environment at their institution. Example nominees could include, but are not limited to:
