The AAMC created RISE: Developing Future Leaders in Academic Medicine & Science with the goal of helping students build leadership skills and knowledge that are vital to both their journey as a medical student, resident, and their future as a physician leader. The AAMC now offers two distinct programs for medical students at different stages in their journey:

Who Should Attend?Student leaders who demonstrate a willingness and ability to positively impact the culture and/or learning environment at your institution. Example nominees could include, but are not limited to:
