What to Expect?Formerly known as the Early Career Women Faculty Leadership Development Seminar, the seminar has been expanded to ensure all early career faculty who may benefit have the opportunity to attend.
Designed specifically for early career faculty, the seminar offers a structured, interactive curriculum focused on self-awareness, communication and influence, collaboration, and strategic career planning. The programming combines plenary sessions with facilitated small-group discussions and applied learning activities, creating opportunities for both individualized reflection and peer exchange.
Who Should Attend?Physicians and scientists with an appointment at an AAMC member school of medicine, with a minimum of two years of experience (as of the date of the seminar) as an Assistant Professor. While this course is designed for those with experience in their roles, experienced and aspiring faculty are welcome to participate if the curriculum aligns with their leadership development goals.
