Through a series of progressive learning experiences that address your most pressing challenges, our newest suite of CORE Leadership Development programs deliver fundamental leadership skills essential for various stages of your career.

What to Expect

While each workshop may be taken individually, the curriculum is intentionally designed as a progressive series, and participants are strongly encouraged to enroll in all three workshops for the most comprehensive development experience. 
  1. Workshop 1: Shaping Organizational Culture
    July 21 & 23, 2026 | Virtual
    Examine the drivers of institutional culture and develop practical strategies to cultivate an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing environment. Participants will explore how culture influences outcomes and create targeted tactics to shape it intentionally. 
  2. Workshop 2: Leading Through Change
    October 13 & 15, 2026 | Virtual
    Strengthen your ability to guide teams through uncertainty. This module explores change management strategy, common responses to change, and the balance between process and people. Leaders will apply systems-thinking to navigate complex challenges and sustain momentum. 
  3. Workshop 3: Implementing Strategy as a Leader
    December 1 & 3, 2026 | Virtual
    Move from strategic intent to measurable progress. From a change leader perspective, participants will develop practical implementation plans, anticipate barriers, and create actionable approaches tailored to their unique institutional context.


Who Should Attend?

This program is open to both staff and faculty. Representative titles may include, but are not limited to, Associate or Vice Dean, Center Director, Administrator, Department or Vice Chair, Designated Institutional Official, Executive or Senior Director, Division or Section Chief. 
 
Participant responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, budgetary and strategic operational planning, the oversight of administration and accreditation, administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, faculty development, performance and human resource management, and financial planning and management.

All workshops will be held virtually. 

Registration and Fees 

Registration for the virtual offering will open in spring 2026.  

The registration fee for all three workshops is $1950 or each workshop is $725.  

Program Objectives

Upon completing, you will be ready to immediately:

  • Lead collaboratively to drive change at your institution.
  • Align organizational culture to lead change initiatives.
  • Apply a systems-thinking approach to decision making and strategy implementation.
  • Discover techniques for influencing others and align goals with strategy.
